Explore the real Ireland on this 5-night tour, and stay in some of the most well known areas in the country: Dublin, Galway and Killarney. On this fully guided tour, discover famous sites such as Blarney Castle, The Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Moher and Trinity College – where the 8th century Book of Kells is displayed. Also, meet a traditional farming family when you visit Rathbaun farm, and get a chance to shop for Irish gifts at Blarney Woollen Mills.

  • Day 1 - On the Plane

    USA-Dublin.
    Commercial Flight

    Fly transatlantic overnight to Dublin, Ireland.

    Food and Dining

    Dinner is served and entertainment is provided.

  • Day 2 - Dublin

    Arrive in Dublin, Ireland.

    Welcome to Dublin! Dublin is one of Europe's liveliest cities, where medievel and fine 17th century buildings stand comfortably amid all the trappings of the 21st Century.

    Sightseeing

    At 2pm your voyage of discovery begins with a city tour. Your local guide brings to life Dublin's archetectural treasures and history streatching back more than 1000 years. Visit St.Patrick's Cathederal founded in 1190, tour Dublin's beautiful Georgain squares, walk the cobbled courtyards of Trinity College to its famed library and truly unique world treasure, the 8th Century Book of Kells.

    Back at your hotel join your tour director and fellow travelers for a welcome dinner at your hotel.

  • Day 3 - Killarney

    Dublin/Blarney/Killarney.
    Sightseeing

    After driving through the Curragh, the heart of Ireland's equestrian country, view the unforgettable Rock of Cashel, an impressive pre-Christian settlement. The dramatic limestone rock crowned with secular and religious buildings dominates the flat countryside for miles around.

    Travel on to County Cork to visit Blarney Castle with its magical stone that gives the gift of eloquence for a kiss.

    Time to stop at Blarney Woollen Mills to shop for Waterford Crystal and other handicrafts before continuing on to Bustling Killarney.

    The town on the Lakes is famous for its lively pubs and open, cheerful atmosphere, full of what the Irish call "Craic!"- Gaelic for fun.

  • Day 4 - Killarney

    The Ring of Kerry.

    Travel the road that winds around the Iveragh Peninsula, better known as "The Ring of Kerry." It is undoubtedly one of the most magical places in all of Ireland. Here mountains, valleys, lakes and sea blend into a landscape that is breathtaking beyond words.

    Relaxation

    The balance of the day is at leisure.

  • Day 5 - Galway

    Killarney/Cliffs of Moher/Galway.

    This morning cross the Shannon estuary by ferry and enter County Clare. Stop for a walk along the Cliffs of Moher, rising approximately 700 feet above the pounding Atlantic waves.

    Bus

    Then travel north across the Burren, a suddenly stark and barren landscape.

    Sightseeing

    On to discover Galway, "City of the Tribes," including the lovely Galway Cathederal.

    Sightseeing

    This evening we drop in at Rathbaun Farm and meet a Galway farming family as they carry out their daily chores. Watch as the farmer sheers a sheep and maneuvers his flock with the help of his dog. Enjoy dinner at the farmhouse before returning to your home for the night.

  • Day 6 - Dublin

    Galway/Dublin.
    Sightseeing

    Travel across the fertile plains of Meath to Clonmacnoise, an ancient monastic site founded by St. Ciaran in 545 A.D.

    Bus

    Then, return to Dublin, where your evening is free.

  • Day 7 - Dublin

    Depart Dublin.

    After your Irish breakfast, travel to Dublin Airport for last minute duty-free shopping before boarding your flight home - taking all your treasured memories of the Emerald Isle.
