Of all of our popular Italy tours, this is the one designed with your family in mind - on which you'll share the splendors of Italy together! Explore the imperial city of Rome and the legacy of the powerful Roman Empire that ruled the world millennia ago, and look up at the celebrated ceiling of the Vatican's Sistine Chapel. Discover the amazing art treasures of fabled Florence, birthplace of the Renaissance, get a hands-on pizza-making demonstration, and travel to the Tuscan city of Pisa to visit the famous Leaning Tower. Take the high-speed Eurostar train to Florence and to Venice, and enter a remarkable world of Renaissance architecture surrounded by water and bisected by historic canals. Our Italy tours of Venice include a gondola ride and serenade, a true delight!

  • Day 1 - Rome

    See the glories of Ancient Rome.

    Tour begins: 2:30 PM at the Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi. Welcome to Rome, where you'll begin this most family-friendly of our Italy tours; a transfer is included from Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Fiumicino to the Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi.

    Sightseeing

    Walk with a guide through the heart of Rome to sites such as the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and the famous Trevi Fountain – toss a coin over your shoulder into the fountain and make a wish!

    Located in the middle of the historic center of Florence, the Hotel Brunelleschi is undoubtedly one of the city’s most intriguing hotels. It incorporates several medieval buildings, including the Byzantine “La Pagliazza” tower and a 12th-century church, San Michele in Palchetto, within what has became a 21st-century hotel after extensive reconstruction.
