Kenya Family 10 Day Program
Kenya Family 10 Day Program

We try and design our itineraries around things that we enjoy. We have created a 10 day experience that gives your family the chance to work and play together in an extraordinary environment, rich in culture and new experiences. We have kept this itinerary uncomplicated as we also have families and understand that sometimes a timetable is the last thing you need. We also feel that often the really rewarding experiences are the simple moments where you just get time together, as a family, away from it all. The activities we have chosen are both educational and exciting and will enable you and your family to immerse in the culture of Kenya, with opportunities to view culture and wildlife. Our camp has a total of 10 beds and this trip is suitable for children over the age of 8 and adults of all ages (i.e. you can bring Grandma if you like!).

Dolphin and Whale Route
Dolphin and Whale Route

This is a self drive, however we can modify to a private or escorted/part self drive. If you want to see whales, the timing of this route is important. The southern right whales arrive towards the end of June, and stay till October, with a few stragglers hanging around till early November. The humpback whales usually hang around between April and October, although they have been known to stay a bit longer. Of course, you can see whales and dolphins at many other places along the coast, but these spots are the most consistent and user-friendly.

South Africa Flower Route
South Africa Flower Route

This route is only really worthwhile in spring usually from late August to Early September. You need to book ahead if you're hoping to find a place to stay in flower season. What follows is a great itinerary and covers far more than most people will need it's worth doing if you are a botanist or just absolutely dead keen on flowers. But remember almost anywhere you go in the flower area in season is bound to be amazing. Many of these roads are dirt. You can still have a good flower experience without driving on dirt roads. Just visit Darling, Langebaan, Clanwilliam, Niewoudtville or Vanrynsdorp, and you don't have to go far from the N7.
