TRIP DESCRIPTION
Anyone who lives within driving distance of antelope canyon [Page, AZ] should not miss this one! I am continually baffled by travelers who think that just because something is halfway around the world, it must be terrific--well, maybe so, but there are many terrific things in our big back yard, too!
Antelope canyon is part of the Navajo Reservation and tours are lead by Navajos. [The lovely Navajo lady who was our leader later had luch with us and it was a kick to share ideas and life styles with her honestly in an intimate setting.] The photos under 'images' on Google will blow you away. Even if you can't come to AZ to enjoy this one, the pictures will deliver a punch. No kidding!
