TRIP DESCRIPTION

Mancation - Myrtle Beach

Four Average golfers decided to take a trip to Myrtle Beach. The cheapest airline by far, coming from the NY area, was Spirit. It's a budget airline but it does this route all the time.

Keep in mind that you MUST rent a car to get around. We stayed at The Breakers, which had a good deal. The hotel was actually substandard but they offered a great breakfast to golfers and was situated on the beach which made for a great end-of-the day The packaged included choosing amongst MANY top-notch courses, including The International. Point of information: Make sure the week you pick is not the same time as The Bikers convention. It overcrowded the town and made for lots of noise pollution.

IMPORTANT: be prepared to tip 3-4 people before you get to tee off. Tipping is a way of life down there.

The golfing was top-notch, there is a great selection of fine restaurants, steak houses and pubs, all which made it a great time for 4 guys to spend 4 days together.
