Trip Itinerary:

• Day 1 - 4 - Cape Town

  You will be met at Cape Town International Airport by our Africa representative and transferred to the hotel or guesthouse of your choice.

  Sightseeing

  Our representative will go through your travel documentation with you, providing sightseeing tips and advice on the many interesting places you can visit. You can hire a rental car for your time in the city or pre-book any guided tours that you may wish to take, such as Cape Point, Table Mountain and Winelands.
  

  Beach

  In the package we have included a picnic basket and you will be driven by a chauffer to the Cape Town beach of your choice: Clifton/ Camps Bay/ Bakoven Beach.

  Hotel

  Four overnights at Cape Grace on a bed and breakfast basis.

  

• Day 5 - 6 - Cape Town

  Rovos Rail.

  Train

  Transfer to Cape Town Station in time for Rovos Rail. Two overnights onboard Rovos Rail on a fully inclusive basis.

  Sightseeing

  For many visitors to South Africa, there's no finer way to see the country than on the popular weekly journeys between Cape Town and Pretoria (or vice versa). From the coast, the 1600-kilometre (994-mile) route follows an old pioneering trail carved out of the African bushveld, passing through the Winelands and climbing up to the interior through the Hex River Valley. Highlights of the route include visits to the historic village of Matjiesfontein, a 100-year-old refreshment stop in the arid Karoo, and Kimberley, the diamond boom-town that's home to the Big Hole, the world's largest man-made excavation.
  

  

• Day 7 - Pretoria

  Private Car Service

  You will be collected from Rovos Rail Station after your arrival and transferred by road to the elegant Illyria House in Pretoria.

  Sightseeing

  Pretoria is the Administrative Capital of South Africa, with grand buildings and most of the foreign embassies located here, thus giving the whole city a dignified presence.

  Hotel

  Overnight Illyria House on a fully inclusive basis.

• Day 8 - 10 - Phinda

  Phinda Private Game Reserve.

  Commercial Flight

  After breakfast, you will be collected for your road transfer to Johannesburg International Airport to board your scheduled charter flight to Phinda Private Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal’s Maputaland region for a unique safari experience.

  Safari

  You will be welcomed to Phinda by your game ranger and transferred to the intimate Phinda Rock Lodge. Three overnights at Phinda Private Game Reserve on a full board basis, including game-drives, guided interpretive bush walks, riverboat cruises and canoeing exploring the Reserve’s seven habitats.

  Hotel

  Three overnights at Phinda Rock Lodge on a fully inclusive basis, including all scheduled safari activities offered by the Lodge.

  

• Day 11 - Johannesburg

  End of Trip.

  Safari

  Enjoy your morning game-viewing activity and breakfast.

  Commercial Flight

  Board your charter flight back to Johannesburg International Airport.
