During our South Africa Cultural Tours, we will introduce you to the people, history, culture, customs, traditions, lifestyle that have made South Africa into what it is to day. Visit the village where Nelson Mandela grew up, and tour the Nelson Mandela Museum during this tour.
This Trip is Recommended for:
Day 1 - East London
Meet guests at East London Airport. Briefly tour East London and proceed to Mdantsane Township, the second biggest township in the Southern Hemisphere after Soweto.
Experience township life. We will do some walking around the township where we will learn about the realities of the villagers everyday lives.
Food and Dining
Thereafter we then proceed to Mgwali cultural village, where we enjoy traditional food, dancing, stick fighting and story telling.
Bed & Breakfast
We stay overnight at Mgwali.
Day 2 - Eastern Cape
We Leave Mgwali after breakfast and drive to Kei Mouth. We will now begin to explore the more rural and traditional area of the Eastern Cape.
We cross the Great Kei River by pontoon on to Centane to meet a Traditional healer on the way. Our Guests can question and experience how his old man heals people, and about his tradional healing techniques.
On the way we will visit a rural village clinic where we will enjoy a traditional lunch in a local village, with some traditional dancing.
We will stay overnight at Trenneries Hotel.
Day 3 - South Africa
We leave Trenneries for Coffee Bay via Mazeepa Bay after breakfast. Mazeepa Bay Island is a fisherman’s paradise. There, we will cross the suspension bridge and feel the ocean breeze. We will experience the beauty and splendor of the island and surrounding area.
We then proceed to Coffee Bay via Qunu in order to see Nelson Mandela’s home.

Then drive from the main road to Coffee Bay is a world within itself.
We will stay overnight at Coffee Bay. Coffee Bay is made up of a few hotels and a few stores on the wild Coast. It has remained deeply rooted in the traditions of the area and is tranquil and incredibly scenic.
Day 4 - South Africa
We will spend the next day at Coffee Bay enjoying from the many activities offered which range from relaxing and doing nothing, to laying on the beach or enjoying the Indian ocean, village walks, walk back from hole in the wall, kayaking, surf lessons, etc.
Day 5 - East London
We leave Coffee Bay after breakfast for Umtata and visit the Neslon Mandela museum.

We then proceed to East London to drop off our guests.
