Morocco's compelling natural landscape, rich architectural tradition, and fascinating cultural heritage will inspire and delight you. Morocco has often been described as an oasis of the senses, offering the beauty of the Sahara Desert, the rugged, yet lush Atlas Mountains, the beauty of the Mediterranean and Atlantic Coasts, as well as the warm hospitality of its people. It is an ancient country, molded by three thousand years of history. You will visit the cities and landscapes which have inspired artists, writers, and poets for centuries.



Trip Itinerary:

  • Day 1 - Casablanca

    Upon arrival at Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca, you will be met and escorted to your hotel.

    Sightseeing

    In the afternoon, take a tour of Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, including the central market, the Habous District, the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V Square, the residential area of Anfa, and the outside of the Hassan II mosque.

    Dinner and overnight at the Idou Anfa Hotel (or similar). Meals: Dinner.

  • Day 2 - Rabat

    Rabat/Meknes/Fes.
    Private Car Service

    After breakfast, depart Casablanca for Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco.

    Sightseeing

    Take a city tour to visit the royal palace, the Oudaya kasbah, the splendid Mohamed V mausoleum, and the Hassan Tower. The road to Meknes will take you along a beautiful stretch of farmland where olives, grapes, grain, and vegetables grow.

    Sightseeing

    On arrival in Meknes, you will have some free time for lunch before some sightseeing of the Ismailiam capital, famous for its 40-km-long walls. Visit the Bab Al Mansour and the royal stables of Moulay Ismail.

    Sightseeing

    Continue to Fes via the holy city of Moulay Idriss where the founder of islam in Morocco is buried, then visit the Roman city of Volubilis.

    Dinner and overnight at the Menzeh Zalagh Hotel (or similar) in Fes. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

  • Day 3 - Fes

    Sightseeing

    After breakfast, start your full day tour of the most ancient of the imperial cities founded in the 8th century by Moulay Idriss II. Visit of the medieval medina with its Attarine & Bouanania Medersas (religious Islamic universities), the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Quaraouine mosque.

    Food and Dining

    You will have free time for lunch before your visit of Fes jdid.

    Return to the Menzeh Zalagh Hotel (or similar). Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

  • Day 4 - Morocco

    Midelt/Erfoud.
    Sightseeing

    After breakfast, depart for Erfoud, via the Middle Atlas Mountains along the Tizi-n-Tretton Pass, traveling through the lovely cedar forests where you may catch a glimpse of some Berber monkeys. This route takes you through Ifrane, which is a beautiful mountain town with a large French architectural influence and an important handicraft center.

    Stop in Midelt for lunch, then continue to Errachidia to visit the blue spring of Meski.

    On arrival in Erfoud, check into the Belere Hotel (or similar) in Erfoud. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

  • Day 5 - Ouarzazate

    Erfoud/Ouarzazate.

    Early in the morning, depart by Land Rover for the Merzouga Sand Dunes to see the sunrise.

    Food and Dining

    Arrive back at the hotel in time for breakfast.

    Sightseeing

    Continue the drive to Ouarzazate via the Oasis of Tineghir. Here you will see the famous Todghra Canyons.

    Lunch at a local restaurant.

    After lunch continue along the "Road of One Thousand Kasbahs" to Ouarzazate.

  • Day 6 - Ouarzazate

    Sightseeing

    Enjoy a morning of sightseeing of Ouarzazate and visit of the Kasbahs of Taourirt and Tifoultout.

    You will have the rest of the afternoon free to explore the city and relax around the hotel.

  • Day 7 - Marrakech

    Sightseeing

    After breakfast, depart for Marrakech via Ait Ben Haddou, a site where many famous movies were filmed, including Lawrence of Arabia. It is the best preserved Kasbah in Morocco. After some free time for lunch, continue to Marrakech over the Tizi-n-Tischka Pass into the High Atlas Mountains.

    Arrive into Marrakech and check into the Tikida Garden Hotel (or similar) for three nights. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

  • Day 8 - Marrakech

    Historical and Educational Tours

    The full day is devoted to the exploration of Marrakech, the second oldest imperial city, also known as the pearl of the south. They city was founded by the Almoravides at the end of the 11th century. The historical sightseeing will include the Menara garden, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Dar Si Said museum.

    Arts, Crafts and Antiques

    In the afternoon, continue the visit with the famous Djemaa El Fna Square and its surrounding souks and handicraft quarters displaying a variety of items.

    Performing Arts

    Tonight there is an optional dinner with Fantasia show at a typical restaurant.

    Return to the Tikida Garden Hotel (or similar). Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

  • Day 9 - Marrakech

    Relaxation

    Today you will have a full day free to spend at your leisure.

    Shopping

    Go shopping or just walk around the city.

  • Day 10 - Essaouira

    Essaouira/Safi.
    Private Car Service

    Leave Marrakech to visit the port cities of Essaouira, the former Mogador and Portuguese stronghold, and Safi, which is famous for its pottery.

    Sightseeing

    On arrival in Safi, enjoy a brief tour of the city.

    Dinner and overnight at the Golden Tulip Farah Hotel (or similar) in Safi.

  • Day 11 - El Jadida

    El Jadida/Casablanca.

    Travel along the picturesque Atlantic coast to Casablanca.

    Have lunch and visit the Portuguese vestiges en route back to Casablanca.
