General Information about Frederick

Frederick is a city in Tillman County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 4,637 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Tillman County[3]. This is an agriculture based community primarily with wheat, cotton, and cattle. The public school team name is the Bombers, and they play football at the Bomber Bowl. Frederick was a football powerhouse, in the 1990's, winning the class 3-A State Championship in 1993, 1994, 1995 and the class 2-A State Championship in 1996.
Frederick is also one of a small number of towns in Oklahoma to still have a Carnegie Library as its public library.
