General Information about West Point

West Point is a city in Davis County, Utah, United States. It is part of the OgdenClearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 6,033 at the 2000 census, and by 2003 had been estimated at 6,472. The city has continued to grow very quickly. Primarily, the growth has been centered around single-family residential construction. Commercial developers have begun purchasing property in the area to provide the necessary commercial services. Commercial developments have been proposed at 300 North 2000 West and around the city hall at 300 North 3000 West. The North Davis Fire District has begun construction their future headquarters at approximately 350 North 3150 West. This building should be completed Spring of 2008.
