Lisbon is a town in New London County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 4,069 at the 2000 census. The town center is also known as the village of Newent. The town school is Lisbon Central School.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 16.6 square miles (43.1 km²), of which, 16.3 square miles (42.1 km²) of it is land and 0.4 square miles (1.0 km²) of it (2.29%) is water.
