Morristown is a city in Rice County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 981 at the 2000 census. Morristown was founded on land which Sarah Morris, widow of early settler Jonathon Morris, had surveyed into town lots.[3]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.9 square miles (2.4 km²), of which, 0.9 square miles (2.3 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (4.40%) is water.
