General Information about High Bridge

Ashland County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It was formed on March 27, 1860, from La Pointe County.[1] As of 2000, the population was 16,866. Its county seat is Ashland.[2]
Ashland County was named in honor of Henry Clay's Kentucky homestead because one of the early settlers was an admirer of Clay.[3]
