"Lebanon, NH: Love It!"

I'm a real estate agent with Century 21 Energy Shield Realty and Music Director of Bel Canto Chamber Singers. My wife and I spent many years in Europe where I taught with the Department of Defense Dependents Schools. We returned to the United States in 1993 and are most pleased to have landed in Lebanon where I taught music for eight years at Lebanon High School.

The whole Upper Valley area on both sides of the Connecticut River in New Hampshire and Vermont is one fine place to live: good schools, natural beauty, amazing cultural and recreational opportunities. Here are a few highlights that, to my mind, make Lebanon very special: The Lebanon Opera House (year-round international and local performances) is a gem of a theater. Opera North is there in the summer (another highlight) as is the North Country Community Theatre. The 80 member Upper Valley Community Band performs at the Lebanon Opera House. The Lebanon city green is quintessential New England and the Lebanon Recreation Department sponsors many summer concerts and events in Colburn Park. The AVA Art Gallery is another gem as are the Lebanon Ballet School, the Upper Valley Music Center, the Lebanon Public Library. The Listen Center's philanthropic endeavors on behalf of those in need is exemplary. Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Alice Peck Day Hospital provide the kind of medical services seldom found in rural areas. The free public bus transportation is a boon to those who utilize it and to the community as a whole. Lebanon College is a great community resource. We are blessed to be near Hanover's Dartmouth College and White River Junction's Northern Stage. There are some fine restaurants in the area. Young people especially enjoy the ambiance and music of the Salt Hill Pub.

I could go on and on. But that's it for now.

"Lebanon and Surrounding area"

In 2005, I took a job in the Lebanon area and we moved to New London NH. We visited Lebanon on a regular basis to go out to dinner. The town shares many of the qualities of New London. A walking town that provides a small town atmosphere with many activities.

This year we moved from the area due to taking a job closer to family. We miss many aspects of the Upper Valley and New London. We currently are trying to sell a home in New London. Please feel free to check out the following website on this house for sale. http://www.newlondonhouseforsale.com/

Thank You,

Phil
