Miami is a city in Ottawa County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 13,485 at the 2006 census. It is the county seat of Ottawa County[3]. The city is named after the Miami tribe, and is pronounced "My-am-uh", unlike Miami, Florida, which is pronounced "My-am-ee".
