General Information about Kingsville

Kingsville is a city in Kleberg County, Texas, United States. The population was 25,575 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Kleberg County[3] and the principal city of the Kingsville Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is part of the larger Corpus Christi-Kingsville Combined Statistical Area.
Kingsville was formed in 1904 as Henrietta King donated land for the original townsite, which is now located within the heart of the world-famous King Ranch. She inherited the land from husband, Captain Richard King, along with a $500,000 debt. The King family would later make a fortune in oil and gas.
