"Home Heating Suggestions"
Replies
Hi Carol,
I don't know if portable devices are a good practical way to heat your home. Take into consideration the comfort of your family, specially if you live in a cold climate region.
I' m assuming you have a central heating system. If you want to save energy without any major changes try to set your thermostat at 68 degrees.
There are some other cost effective ways to save energy, like adding insulation, or sealing all the unwanted cracks and holes leading to the outside of yor home, to prevent heat escaping to the outdoors.

With home heating costs going through the roof, can anyone suggest alternative-clean ways to heat the home? I know there are many portable devices but haven't heard first-hand what people think of them
