My mother has always been active and loves to travel. For the past year it has been necessary for her to use a wheelchair. I want to take a tour with her to Australia and would love to hear from others with similar experiences.

I know of a website that can help you plan a trip for you mom. It’s http://disabilitytravel.com/ and it is designed for people who are in wheelchairs who want to see the world. I’ve never used them but I have explored the site because I’m thinking of taking my dad on an African safari.

We have enjoyed each other’s company on safaris in the past and want to continue this family tradition, regardless of his recent need to use a wheelchair. The site seems to have a lot to offer.
