I found match.com to be a good on-line dating option. I’ve been able to meet a number of very nice ladies in their late forties – early fifties. There are other sites specifically for the older crowd (50+) but match.com has a larger client base, making it easier to find someone with your interests.

Also you should check out http://www.truedater.com before you go on a date....you can look at posts of reviews of people you meet through dating sites. It helps you know if they’re telling the truth about their marital status, age, looks, etc.

Although it seems pricey, eharmony.com is a good site. I found that there were many people in our age group on there and since you are matched up after completing a detailed profile (more than an hour to answer all the questions), you already had some things in common with anyone who is introduced to you. The site has many protections built in and ways of communicating without giving out your personal email, telephone number or address.
I communicated with three different people for a few weeks in late winter/early spring. Since March 15, I have been seeing one guy and we have a great time together. We also like/hate many of the same things and have the same values. I am happy.
