Grand Circle Travel and their partner, Overseas Adventure Travel, offer ground tours with no single supplement. You can get a room to yourself if you book early or they can set up a roommate for you. I've traveled both ways and prefer my own room. I enjoyed the trips I took to Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland very much. The tour guides were excellent. They visited more places than I would've ever been able to on my own. It's pricey, but well worth it. For more information see my blogs detailing my latest trip on Singleboomerlife.com.
