    You get what you pay for and the old adage it's better too spend a little more on quality too insure the longevity of the product and user. I have done a huge amount of research on nutrition and you would be surprised where to find the best vitamins and minerals. I would not give my wife or kids Puritan's Pride Products because of the research I have done.

    To gain muscle

    To gain muscle a person must expose them to a progressive weight training routine as well as incorporate a healthy muscle building diet. Changing a person’s diet as well as beginning a weight training routine has many positive effects on a person’s hormonal state including improvements in resting testosterone levels, and increase in growth hormone levels, improved cardiovascular capacity and last but not least improved insulin efficiency.

    When choosing a vitamin supplement, look for 100% whole food vitamins, in a capsule form. Tablets often use binding agents and have a protective coating making absorption difficult, thus sometimes rendering them ineffective. Also, look for vitamins and supplements that ensure cellular delivery. If a nutrient cannot reach the affected or malnourished area, it is practically worthless. These are essential attributes of any vitamin worth taking. Considering the cost of supplementation, in order to improve and lengthen our lives, we should at least take the time to investigate the abitlity of the product to be absorbed by our bodies.

    Vollara, offers a full line of "Whole Food" supplements, including enzymes and probiotics to aid in overall health and digestion. They even have products which have been "FS" Certified, meaning they are legal to be utilized by professional athletes, and have "For Sports" certification, a great recommendation. Anyway, if this interests you, a full line of products are available to investigate and purchase, if interested at www.myvollara.com/cg123

    Your list of vitamins and its description are informative. But if i am not wrong he is asking the brand of vitamins, not about the vitamin.

    @Denise

    Bayer One A Day, Costco's Kirkland and Walgreen's Finest. are some vitamins brand which are popular.

    I know sublingual vitamins are good because of their absorption rates. I'm wondering about some mouthwashes that started implementing these vitamins ie. www.sublingualb12rinse.com, has anyone heard if they are effective?

    I'm a firm believer in vitamins that have high absorption levels. are the best. Pure Encapsulations, Douglas Labs, Kan Herbs, Innate Response, and Banyan are top brands in my opinion. I have been taking them for years. I'd recommend them to anyone but it's always good to check with your Dr. before starting a program. I'm taking alot of fish oil for my joints now and really like Nordic's products. Good luck all!

    Honestly, I think that depends on what's important to you. (I'm assuming you're not made of money and can't just take EVERYTHING.) I have a LONG history of breast cancer in my family, so I try to alter my life and my choices to prevent that from happening. This basically sums up what I do: http://www.purematters.com/prevention/breast-cancer/five-habits-that-help-fight-breast-cancer

    Like I said, though, it really depends on waht you're looking for. My stepdaughter SWEARS by biotin--says it does wonders for her hair and keeping her nails nice even when she's getting that awful silk stuff. Anyways, just a thought.
