I am used to only doing aerobics, but I would like to expand my workout and also lift weights. How do I get started on a weightlifting program that is safe for a 50+ year old like me?

Strength training is an absolute must for 50+ population. You didn't state your gender, but male or female, I would be happy to help you. I run a fitness group for women over 30 and have many women in the 50-60 age group.

You aerobic base is exactly where you need to start. I need more info though to get you started. Check out my website and contact me and I will gladly help you design a program.....http://speedwork.org/

This is my passion, so the cost will be quite minimal.
