I inherited a beautiful antique quilt from my aunt. I’d like to display it as a wall hanging – it would be a beautiful accent in my living room. I don’t want to tack it up because I know that could hurt its value. I’m looking for ideas about how I can display this beautiful heirloom without damaging it.

I have several antique quilts and you are right about how they can add a unique decorative touch to your home. I searched stores and the web for a long time to find an easy and attractive way to hang my quilts that wouldn’t damage them.

Happily I found a great hanger through Qualwood Products. It clamps on to the quilt at the top, and you just attach the hanger to the wall. The one I chose is their contemporary hanger #QCC-80-AC which is a very simple design that does not detract from the quilt.

Qualwood’s phone number is (505) 869-9156 and there website is http://qualwoodproducts.com/ Just be careful that you keep your quilt away from sunlight.
