    Dear All,

Need some advise please.. I met this guy in www.datelong.com and was very impressed with the first conversation. He seems to be very genuine and gentle and invited me to lunch with him at his New York apartment. I am bit nervous and afraid to go to his apartment, and suggested to meet in a restaurant instead. But he is gently stubborn and asked me to try his delicious cooking. He sounds very gentle and handsome. Please advise, if there is any potential danger…

Hi Ann: Since I just joined this site and just found your post, I hope you stuck to your decision. Today one cannot trust as one could years ago. AND the man should understand and have respect for you as a woman and your decision.. NO man's cooking is worth putting your safety at risk...

Ann , I agree with SayerLady.

I am VERY familiar with the dating scene . It is not safe for women or men. I would HIGHLY advise you NOT go to the man's home before meeting for several times. I have had women 'move in' with me in 2-3 days . I learned A LOT .

Even though I now live in NC , I went to tech school in Hicksville . Graduated Northport 1973. And my last visits have all ways been to Hicksville , right across from Grumman, My longest friend had a Magician's shop there. I also worked in Hicksville in 82 , for Frances A Lee Welding.

Listen to your Heart, add in your minds wisdom , and you will be on a good path

    Chris
