"Best place to relocate south of charlotte,nc"

    I'm thinkinng of moving to NC and would like some town recommendations south of Charlotte. I have family living in a bedroom community of Charlotte but would like to get out into a smaller country city or town. At this point, I'm not sure if I just want a small plot of land to build on, a single family house (1500sf), or a condo. Any thoughts?
