"Need some advice for first journey in NYC?"

Have you made your travel plans yet? I live in NJ, and yes, the weather can be extreme in NYC in the end of August. However, right now we are enjoying some nice weather, a little overcast, in the 80's and humid. After the atrocious summer we've had, (multiple heat waves), it feels pretty good right now. Everything has A/C in NY, and after sunset, the weather in truly enjoyable. You can eat al fresco, walk around town, and everything stays open! I think you'll enjoy your time there.
