Prescott is about 20 degrees cooler than Phoenix. There are 4 seasons including winters with snow and autumns with colorful foliage. Summers don’t get too hot because of the 5,000+ foot elevation. I’ve never lived there, but I’ve been through and it’s very pretty. If you click on the “find the perfect place to relocate or retire” part of this site you can find out a lot of info about Prescott, even compare it point by point to any other city. You can also check out about senior housing options and homes for sale in the area, just to get an idea of the prices. There are also reviews written by others who have lived there. Wherever you decide to move, I strongly suggest that you rent for a year to find out if it is the perfect place for you.
