If you haven't checked out www.smithsonianjourneys.org you absolutely should! You can search by interest - food and wine, adventure, archaeology, art & architecture, history and just about every topic you can think of... and you can search by locations around the world. I have not used them yet to book a trip, but it is a great site to visit and dream. Have a great trip!

Hello, I know this recommendation is not Europe, but I feel I must recommended www.easternturkeytour.org
I have just had the most fantstic historical, archeologically full, tasty, interesting, inspiring holiday in Eastern Turkey, where I was looked after, given new knowledge, treated with generousity. There are a selection of tours and I believe a new Grand Tour is about to be added. Visit the site you won't be disappointed, oh, and remember Alkans Tours will alter a tour to meet your needs. FABULOUS

I am looking for a fantastic trip ideas fto celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We are interested in going to Europe and would like to include sight-seeing that is rich in history and art. Also, if you know of tour operators that specialize in this type of trip, please send the info along.
