Further information about James T. Russell IV:

James Russell was first licensed in 1986 through First Investors Corporation. In 1987, he took a position with the brokerage house Dean Witter Reynolds (now Morgan Stanley) as a fully registered stockbroker. Shortly after starting a career with Dean Witter, the stock market crashed. James learned through that experience that life's catastrophes are sometimes inevitable; it's the opportunity that you find within them that is important. The stock market crash of 1987 also taught James to quickly interpret economic data. James feels it is important for a money manager to utilize today's economic data to help them assess potential market trends of the future. Over the past 25 years, James Russell has used his experience to broaden his knowledge of how the market reacts.

In the early 1990's, James worked as an entrepreneur and consultant. He started Vanguard Mortgage Group which was designed to capitalize from the new lending laws which were enacted by congress in 1994. These new lending laws were the same laws that forced Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac to loosen lending standards and later caused their collapse. Vanguard Mortgage was sold to Delaware Savings Bank, FSB (Federal Savings Bank) in 1997. James stayed with Delaware Savings Bank after the transition as the President of the Bank's Financial Division. James witnessed the beginning of the sub-prime mortgage market during this time. Once he realized the potential financial gains offered by the sub-prime market, James started Chase Alliance where credit debt was purchased for pennies on the dollar.
The money could later be collected for the full amounts through the use of specialized law firms in selected states.

In 2000, James Russell relocated to Florida where he managed his own investment portfolio using his 25 years of experience to implement time tested hedging strategies. He also continued to operate Chase Alliance until 2002 when it was sold to a funding partner. In early 2000 James also began consulting with small business owners to help them understand ways to lower their cost of employee expenses and become more financially efficient.

In early 2006, many people began seeking advice from James for their personal finances. He re-registered as an Investment Advisor agent to take on clients once again. At first he took a position with Morgan Stanley but later realized he could better assist clients by being independent.
