John is also a frequent keynote speaker on tax reduction strategies and estate planning throughout the Metropolitan area for senior centers, investment clubs, churches and civic organizations and societies.
Mr. Stohlman earned a Master's degree in Finance from Johns Hopkins University and was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Towson University, with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics.
John, a native of Montgomery County, is married to Laura, who is also an Owner and Partner of Medallion Financial Strategies. They have been married since 1983 and have two children. John volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, Christmas in April, and works with the Dwelling Place Project as well as food drives for a local homeless shelter. John has also earned his first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
