Bill Keffer is an experienced Certified Financial Planner who serves clients on an hourly, as-needed basis. He specializes in comprehensive financial plans without selling products or charging asset-based fees. The mission is to help people balance retirement, college, investment, insurance, estate, and tax planning needs. The goal is freedom from worry through a clear path to your goals.

In addition to being a CFP, Bill has an MBA in Finance, and is a Chartered Life Underwriter, a Chartered Financial Consultant, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. Prior to starting Keffer Financial Planning, he served as a senior vice president with the largest insurance company in the world, working with banks. Subsequent to his 26 years with USLIFE, American General, and AIG, he spent two years with Citigroup Smith Barney. He has spoken at a number of industry conferences of the American Bankers Insurance Association, the DuPage County Bar Association, the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois, and the Bank Insurance and Securities Association. In 2008, he wrote two chapters in the book "Investing in an Uncertain Economy for Dummies", published by Wiley.

Locally, Bill serves as Treasurer of the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce and chairman of its Professional Development and Education Committee, chairman of the Marketing Committee of the Collaborative Law Institute of IL, treasurer of the local Knights of Columbus, and is a frequent volunteer at PADs, a homeless shelter.
