Steve formed his financial planning practice in 1993 with the Columbus office of Lincoln Financial Advisors after a two year internship with the firm. In 2005, he created and is currently a Managing Principal with Kovalcik & Geraghty Wealth Partners LLP, an independent Branch Office for Raymond James Financial Services in Upper Arlington, Ohio.

Throughout his career, Steve has provided comprehensive, fee-based financial planning advice and investment management services to successful executives and business owners nationwide. His practice focuses on helping his clients accrue and protect wealth while assisting them in their effort to pass their values and legacy on to future generations.

Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business in 1993 and earned his Certified Financial Planner(TM) (CFP(R)) designation in 1997. He was a Founding Member of Junior Achievement's Young Professionals Organization and now serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Central Ohio whose mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. He is also a member of the Columbus Council on World Affairs.

Steve lives in Upper Arlington with his wife, Sally, and their four young children, Carly (6), Grant (3), Clare (2) and newborn Ryan.
