Michael Kortz, RFC, HIP is a financial planner and insurance broker. He has been helping small businesses and individuals with their insurance, investments, and financial planning since 1999. He is a securities-licensed financial planner, and a registered representative of Lincoln Financial Group. His clients have referred to his assistance as "invaluable, efficient and confidence inspiring."

Michael grew up on the water and began racing sailboats at age 8. He became a national sailing champion, winning the Sears Cup in 1983. In college he was a member of the U.C. Irvine Sailing Team. Michael was an avid musician, signing a recording contract at age 18. He went on to record and tour extensively. His music can be heard in numerous action sports movies including the Wave Warriors series and the Crusty Demons series. He also enjoys martial arts and mixed martial arts, and has earned his Nidan (2nd degree black belt) in Shotokan karate.

In 2006, Michael founded the Kortz Family Foundation with the charitable intent of providing aid to those in need, such as the hungry and the elderly, and promoting causes such as juvenile diabetes research and local community education for children.

Compensation and Fee Structures:

Completely independent, which means clients can be helped via fee based or commission based platforms, whichever is in the clients best interest.
