Stephen is the chief manager of Kraft Asset Management, LLC (KAM). KAM provides investment advisory and wealth management services to individuals, estates, trusts, private foundations, LLCs, FLPs, and retirement plans. Prior to taking over KAM, Stephen served as member-in-charge of KraftCPAs' Columbia office, focusing on personal financial planning, small business consulting and tax practices.

Stephen received his undergraduate degree, a master's in business administration, and a juris doctorate from the University of Tennessee. A lawyer, as well as a CPA, he practiced law before joining KraftCPAs in 1990.

Stephen is a member of the American Institute and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He received his Personal Financial Specialist certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Stephen is also a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Stephen has been quoted in Accounting Today, Investment News, Fund Marketing Alert, and the Nashville Business Journal on investment, financial planning, and retirement matters. He has had articles published in the Tennessee CPA Journal and Nashville Medical News. He has taught parts of the Personal Financial Specialist review course to hundreds of CPAs from across the country.

Stephen has served on BAM's Advisor Council, a network of 120 registered investment advisor (RIA) firms. He previously served for two years as president of LINC, a national organization of CPA fee-only financial planners. He has also served on numerous charitable and civic boards.
