I graduated from the University of California Riverside in 1993 with a degree in Business Administration. Soon after, I began working with Capital Management Group, a financial services firm in San Jose, CA.

In 1995 I moved to Sacramento, CA where I joined Lincoln Financial Advisors and worked with individuals and businesses regarding their investment, retirement, insurance, and overall planning needs.

In 1998 I moved to Memphis, TN and took a position with Strategic Financial Partners as the Investment Specialist. In addition to working with my own clients, I was also responsible for the operations of the investment department.

In 2003, I was given a unique opportunity to acquire some new knowledge as a financial analyst and took a position with Terminix International. I spent four years with Terminix learning corporate finance and analysis, but found that my real passion was working with clients and helping them plan for their families and futures.

In 2007, I began working with Kelman-Lazarov, Inc. Kelman-Lazarov is a private wealth management and financial planning company located in Memphis, TN. The firm is designed to help grow, protect, and conserve client wealth while delivering a high level of personalized service. Our goal is to assist our clients in every aspect of their financial lives.

In 2006, I completed my Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation, awarded by the American College. The ChFC provides the recipient an in-depth coverage of the key financial planning disciplines, including insurance, income taxation, retirement planning, investments and estate planning.

In addition to the ChFC, in March 2007, I passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) exam. Individuals authorized by CFP Board to call themselves CFP professionals have completed the established and rigorous education, examination, experience and ethical requirements of the CFP certification process.
