Growing up in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri, Tish received a Congressional Nomination and an Appointment to the prestigious United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. After four years of intense study, Tish earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics and her commission as an Ensign in the United States Navy. Following a total of 11 years service in the U. S. Navy (and duty stations in Washington, DC, Honolulu, HI, and Newport, RI), Tish left the U.S. Naval service. After one more Navy transfer with her husband (to Groton, CT), their family finally settled in Largo, Florida.

She began her career in the Financial Services industry in 1999. Tish earned the CFP(R) certification, awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc in 2003, as well as CLTC (Certified Long Term Care Specialist) in 2005.

She founded Belleair Wealth Strategies, an independent firm, in the spring of 2009. Through Raymond James she is able to provide the level of support that her busy professional clients require.

A resident of Pinellas County Florida since 1998, Tish is active in many aspects of our community.
She is involved in many prestigious local organizations, such as:

Financial Planning Association of Tampa Bay; Pinellas Estate Planning Council; Development Committee member as well as hands on work on homes for Pinellas Habitat for Humanity; Greater Belleair Young Women's Society; Business and Professional Women; Women in Philanthropy and Financial Counseling Services of Morton Plant Mease Foundation; Clearwater Yacht Club; St Petersburg High School PTA; International Baccalaureate Boosters, as well as serving in various leadership roles at her local congregation, Prince of Peace Lutheran in Largo, FL.
