John brings more than 20 years of financial services and wealth advisory experience to his role as Senior Managing Director of Capital Fiduciary Advisors. Prior to forming Capital Fiduciary Advisors, John was a Managing Director of Wealth & Tax Advisory Services (a division of HSBC Private Bank in McLean, Virginia), where he advised on $2 billion of client assets.

Prior to Wealth & Tax Advisory Services, John spent 16 years with Prudential Financial and Securities, Inc. in Washington, DC as a Managing Director and Financial Advisor. At Prudential, he provided an array of services, including wealth management, private and institutional investment consulting, and retirement, insurance, and estate planning.

John is a graduate of the Business School at Shepherd University, (Shepherdstown, WV) and advanced financial planning certificates from the American College (Bryn Mawr, PA).

John also contributes time and energy to environmental organizations such as the Nature Conservancy, Potomac Conservancy, and Loudoun County's agricultural initiatives. He resides in Loudoun County, Virginia with his wife, Lisa, and their three daughters: Madison, Hannah, and Emma.
