Charlie Fitzgerald is a Principal and founding member of Moisand Fitzgerald Tamayo, LLC. He has been providing fee-only financial planning and investment services to corporate executives, business owners, retirees and trustees for over fifteen years.

His advice has been featured in various national and local media sources including NBC Channel 2, ABC Channel 9, Florida News Network, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Orlando Sentinel, Money, Wealth Manager and Financial Planning magazines, Orlando Business Journal and Solutions (a supplement to the Journal of Financial Planning). He has also served as co-host on Orlando's AM 580 WDBO "Ask the Experts."

Since 2009, Charlie has served as Director of Government Relations for the Financial Planning Association of Florida (FPA), where he served as Chairman in 2008 and President in 2006 and 2007. He was instrumental in the formation of the Financial Planning Association of Florida. Charlie served as President and Chairman of the Financial Planning Association of Central Florida in 2004 and 2005. He was recently selected from a nationwide field of nominees within FPA's 23,000 national members to receive their elite "Heart of Financial Planning Distinguished Service Award."

Charlie was an honors graduate in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Florida. He began work in the profession in 1984 and acquired his Certified Financial Planner® License in 1992. From 1983 to 1996, he was a Business and Finance Manager for AT&T.;

Charlie has been a resident of Orlando/Winter Park since 1965. He has been married for 23 years and has three children.
